Therapeutic Support Groups
Interpersonal support for women with eating disorders
Human beings are social creatures, but the anxiety and self-doubt that accompanies disordered eating contributes to social withdrawal, loneliness, and depression. Therapeutic Support Groups provide an opportunity to give and receive support so that you can find your voice and start to feel less alone.
Facilitated by a Registered Therapist, therapeutic support groups provide space for you to connect and communicate with folks who experience similar struggles. They also support you to develop practical skills and tools that you can practice inside and outside of the group so that you can be on your way to finding freedom from your disordered relationship with food and your body.
Each group consists of up to 8 members and requires a commitment to six weeks of weekly 90 minute meetings.
