Are you concerned about your relationship with food and tired of constantly looking for ways to 'control' food and your body?

Do you struggle with negative thoughts about your body or your self but don't know how to shift it?

Are searching for freedom to live a more fulfilling life?

You are not alone, and you've come to the right place x

I specialise in offering trauma informed, individually tailored psychotherapy and intuitive eating counselling for folks who are tired of the diet / wellness culture roundabout and just want some peace.  I'll support you to gain insight into how your thoughts and behaviours surrounding food and body image are coping strategies for difficult experiences and feelings, and together we can discover new and more effectives ways of coping.

I also have a particular passion for supporting new mum's in their transition to motherhood, and exploring postpartum body image.  The notion that mothers' bodies need to 'bounce back' after growing and birthing tiny humans is toxic and deeply rooted in diet / wellness culture.  New mum's deserve a space to connect with themselves and their bodies in a grounded and caring space as they navigate the monumental transition to motherhood.  In addition to 1:1 therapy sessions, I also run therapeutic support groups for new mums.

A disordered relationship with food impacts all aspects of your self and your life.  As such, I believe that therapeutic treatment needs to address all of you: mind, body and spirit.  Fundamentally, healing your relationship with your body and food needs to be a process of empowered self-discovery and I am here to stand beside you.....whenever you feel ready x

*Please note:  After 12 years, I am transitioning away from working with eating disorders.  If you're seeking support for a clinical eating disorder, B-eat is a wonderful place to start:

My Story

I am a BACP registered Integrative Psychotherapist and Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor with over 15 years of experience working in the field of mental health.  I implement a range therapeutic methods to support you on your journey of self-development and growth by offering you a relational

and collaborative approach to therapy.  My aim is to empower you to grow towards becoming the best possible version of yourself. My practice is aligned with Health at Every Size® (HAES) and non-diet approaches to wellbeing which means I strive fo offer a safe space for folks of all shapes and sizes, as free as possible from the anti-fat bias that saturates the world.  I am also invested in anti-racism and social justice, and I provide trauma-informed support.

I specialise in disordered eating recovery, integrating mindfulness, CBT, ACT, creative, relational and trauma informed  interventions tailored specifically to you and your needs.  Any form of disordered eating - from chronic dieting to clinical eating disorders - has the potential to significantly impact your relationship with food and your body.  Disordered eating can also affect how you see your self, others, and the world around you. Together, we can rediscover who you really are beneath your current struggles with food and your body, so you can regain a sense of equilibrium and start living your life to the fullest.

I offer 1:1 therapy online,  Intuitive Eating Counselling, workshops, and support groups for folks who are struggling with varying degrees of disordered eating.  In addition to this, I also provide support and education for caregivers and loved ones of individuals who are struggling with disordered eating. Taking care of yourself and finding ways to nourish and replenish your inner resources is crucial when you're supporting others.
